Today ForceMetrics announces our partnership with the Greensboro Police Department, and their 789 officers, dispatchers, and co-responders who are now using our mobile-ready Informed Responder application to make data-driven decisions in real-time.
After three years spent diligently working with law enforcement partners across the country to build a powerful tool that we believe can truly make an impact, we’re thrilled to formally launch the ForceMetrics platform to the public safety world at large, and to do so in Greensboro, NC.
We know there’s a sizable void in readily accessible information for law enforcement and public safety agents today. Underutilized 911 data is leaving communities in jeopardy, as officers and dispatchers can’t get the information they need when lives are on the line. Further compounding the matter, limited resources, budget constraints, and understaffing mean that crime is outpacing the capacity of our responders.
As prior law enforcement officers, we knew we had to create a solution to reduce the burden on those working to keep us safe, delivering the critical information they need to act quickly and decisively, while ensuring the most positive outcomes for the safety of community members and responders alike.
At ForceMetrics we’re committed to enabling responders to make context-driven decisions through reliable access to actionable information, and we’re grateful to have GPD as one of our earliest partners in this. We’re honored to be supporting their officers and entire staff in improving public safety outcomes in their community. Greensboro officers and dispatchers can now search and access vital safety, mental health, and social services information and trends in seconds, rather than hours, allowing them to be more informed when responding to 911 calls for service.
“ForceMetrics has dramatically improved our responsiveness–to address both crime and conditions–ultimately leading to improved outcomes for the public we serve,” said John Thompson, Chief of Police, Greensboro. “Processes that previously took hours or days are now completed in seconds because of this platform now available to every officer.”
The Greensboro Police Department joins our partners in Aurora, CO, Castle Rock, CO, Waco, TX, and other public safety agencies in five states across the nation using the ForceMetrics platform to bring transformative change through operational efficiency, improved performance, and rapid access to vital information. With ForceMetrics, they’re able to improve response and mitigate risks, while proactively addressing complex social issues, leading to more efficient and effective community service.
“We’re proud to partner with Chief Thompson and the Greensboro Police Department to build a safer community through unprecedented access to data,” said Andre McGregor, CEO, ForceMetrics. “We know communities are safer when better information is instantly available to every officer and dispatcher.”
