ForceMetrics & Waco PD Partnership Announcement

Waco Police Department Adopts ForceMetrics to Streamline 911 Data for More Informed Response

Improving the Use of Data to Create Safer Outcomes for the Public & First Responders

Waco, Texas

The Waco Police Department has announced the deployment of the ForceMetrics’ Informed Responder platform, enabling first responders to make data-driven decisions in real-time. The enhanced use of data will enable improved, safer outcomes for the public and first responders alike.

Waco's adoption of ForceMetrics comes at a time when first responder agencies are understaffed, budget-constrained, and asked to assume greater responsibility within the community to keep people safe. Waco Police can now search and access vital safety, mental health, and social services information and trends in seconds, rather than hours, allowing them to be more informed when responding to 911 calls for service.

The Waco Police Department joins our partners in Aurora, CO, Castle Rock, CO, Greensboro, NC, and other public safety agencies in five states across the nation using the ForceMetrics platform to bring transformative change through operational efficiency, improved performance, and rapid access to vital information. With ForceMetrics, they’re able to improve response and mitigate risks, while proactively addressing complex social issues, leading to more efficient and effective community service.

“As a police chief, I am comforted knowing that Waco Police Department staff have a tool available to increase the safety of our community and our officers,” said Waco Chief of Police Sheryl Victorian. “ForceMetrics has proven to be a useful analytical resource allowing us immediate access to vital information to address issues faster and safer.”

“The Waco Police Department continues innovating, becoming more effective, precise and fair, under Chief Victorian’s leadership,” said ForceMetrics’ CEO Andre McGregor. “We are incredibly proud to partner with Waco in their latest effort to reduce victimization for the citizens of Waco.”

Approximately 350 officers, dispatchers, and co-responders in the Waco Police Department will be trained to use ForceMetrics across many different use cases to reduce victimization and increase efficiency department-wide.
